Got myself a new toy…..
It is called Corby even though I have no a slightest idea what it means :left: This is what it pretty much looks like, have found this picture in some web site that explains what it looks like in India. I made few photos myself but not as good as this one and was too lazy to make better ones 😛
Well, it is my first touchscreen phone. I will need some time to adjust to it, keyboard is not made for my tiny fingers :whistle: This is probably a thing that annoys me the most because when typing a message, a key for switching between T9 and regular text is too close to PQRS key and sometimes my tiny thumb goes there and make a complete mess out of my word 😆 This is probably a cheapest touchscreen model I could get – other Samsung or Nokia :yuck: or HTC models are too expensive for my bank account (read: I am too stingy to pay more than 200 eur for a phone). I got it for only 140 eur – this model costs about 170 eur but my friend has a cousin who owns a PC and phone shop and gave me a discount :happy:
It has already installed Google services: mail, maps and search and made me no problems with installing Opera Mini, only it put it in "Games and more" folder so I had some hard time finding it :doh: Don`t laugh at me now 😡 I am not a phone guru like Mik. Phone is for sending text messages, making calls and periodically checking mails (and Opera). That`s it 😛 Vibration is not strong so when I have it my thick jacket I can`t feel it. Sound is pretty good though.
So far I am satisfied but time will show was it worth buying or not. My old phone is in software repairing now because it gave me some hard time during last few months. After then I will give it to my mom, the one she has now is a crap :left:

Dirk, it is my first Samsung, previous ones were Siemens and Benq-Siemens. It seems to suit you, Dark. Congrats on the new phone and on the discount 😀 .Linda, It's a non-stylus phone, I think. From what I read on this a few weeks ago it's not supported.

Yeah. On one occasion a friend sent me a text message saying that she was so many hours away from my house (she was driving over for the weekend). The text message didn't arrive until I was sitting in the passenger seat of her car, next to her, a couple of days later! But that happens a lot. My phone and I don't really like each other 😦
Enjoy your new phone! :up: My cell phone is very old-fashioned and traditional. It doesn't even have a camera. It packed up altogether when I took it to British Columbia (I assume it objected to Canadian electricity, because it worked fine when I got it back to the UK!) Well, sort of fine. I worry about people sending me text messages because sometimes they take two or three days to arrive :insane:

Enjoy the phone! I've had a couple of Samsungs, Both worked fine but I dropped the first one in a muddy pond while out with the camera one day. It still worked, but the battery connection was ruined so I couldn't re-charge it.

It's a good phone for your needs, hell it's excellent for your needs and I doubt you'll have any problems with it, but the name makes it so I'll never recommend it to anyone ever. :knight: How're you finding Touchwiz? It bugged the hell out of me after a couple of days.For those wondering how tiny Darko's fingers are, that's a 2.8 inch touchscreen if I'm not mistaken.
