Samsung S3650

Got myself a new toy…..

It is called Corby even though I have no a slightest idea what it means :left: This is what it pretty much looks like, have found this picture in some web site that explains what it looks like in India. I made few photos myself but not as good as this one and was too lazy to make better ones ๐Ÿ˜›
Well, it is my first touchscreen phone. I will need some time to adjust to it, keyboard is not made for my tiny fingers  This is probably a thing that annoys me the most because when typing a message, a key for switching between T9 and regular text is too close to PQRS key and sometimes my tiny thumb goes there and make a complete mess out of my word ๐Ÿ˜† This is probably a cheapest touchscreen model I could get – other Samsung or Nokia :yuck: or HTC models are too expensive for my bank account (read: I am too stingy to pay more than 200 eur for a phone). I got it for only 140 eur – this model costs about 170 eur but my friend has a cousin who owns a PC and phone shop and gave me a discount
It has already installed Google services: mail, maps and search and made me no problems with installing Opera Mini, only it put it in "Games and more" folder so I had some hard time finding it  Don`t laugh at me now ๐Ÿ˜ก I am not a phone guru like Mik. Phone is for sending text messages, making calls and periodically checking mails (and Opera). That`s it ๐Ÿ˜› Vibration is not strong so when I have it my thick jacket I can`t feel it. Sound is pretty good though.
So far I am satisfied but time will show was it worth buying or not. My old phone is in software repairing now because it gave me some hard time during last few months. After then I will give it to my mom, the one she has now is a crap :left:
I have no idea what to write more, so if you are interested, ask me ๐Ÿ˜€
For the end one photo I made myself.

๐Ÿ˜€ :eyes: looks good in your hands, I was always very satisfied with my several Samsung phones  :yikes: tiny fingers? I know this  but my small Blackberry is easy to handle … 'though a touchscreen … ๐Ÿ™„

  2. rose-marie says:

    Your thumb… :eyes: It's so tiny!:lol:Congrats Darko!

  3. gdare says:

Dirk, it is my first Samsung, previous ones were Siemens and Benq-Siemens. I liked them both, they were very reliable phones :happy:Rose, yes it is  Thanks :DLinda, this one don`t have stylus. I have found a website that says it could be bought but then I would need to carry it separated from a phone; it can`t be attached to it as regular touchscreen phones can :left:Kimmie, thank you. I like unusual phones even though I am not demanding user ๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you :)San, I don`t :left: Now I am afraid to ask….

  4. thetomster says:

๐Ÿ’ก good one, Linda … but to handle two things at the same time … men are not really made for this ๐Ÿ˜†

  5. Spaggyj says:

It seems to suit you, Dark. Congrats on the new phone and on the discount ๐Ÿ˜€ .Linda, It's a non-stylus phone, I think. From what I read on this a few weeks ago it's not supported.

  6. sanshan says:

You know what they say about men with tiny fingers.

  7. L2D2 says:

Use a stylus to jab those buttons.

  8. gdare says:

Adele, two or three days :eyes: It must be some ancient technology it work on :left: Camera is not that important thing a phone must have. I prefer regular cameras :DSan :insane: Maybe, you should write me a private message instead of writing it here :insane: Maybe, I said….Ana, thank you ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. SittingFox says:

Yeah. On one occasion a friend sent me a text message saying that she was so many hours away from my house (she was driving over for the weekend). The text message didn't arrive until I was sitting in the passenger seat of her car, next to her, a couple of days later! But that happens a lot. My phone and I don't really like each other ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  10. SittingFox says:

Enjoy your new phone! My cell phone is very old-fashioned and traditional. It doesn't even have a camera. It packed up altogether when I took it to British Columbia (I assume it objected to Canadian electricity, because it worked fine when I got it back to the UK!) Well, sort of fine. I worry about people sending me text messages because sometimes they take two or three days to arrive :insane:

  11. sanshan says:

    You should be afraid.

  12. AnitaMargita says:

Congrats, Darko! Hope it will serve you well! ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. edwardpiercy says:

  14. Words says:

Enjoy the phone! I've had a couple of Samsungs, Both worked fine but I dropped the first one in a muddy pond while out with the camera one day. It still worked, but the battery connection was ruined so I couldn't re-charge it.

  15. ellinidata says:

  17. sanshan says:

I wanna see some measurements. :p

  18. sanshan says:

Hey, btw, did we ever get to see Darko in his pink panther boxers?

  19. ellinidata says:

๐Ÿ˜ฎ I did just kidding!:lol:San you are such a delightful person! ๐Ÿ˜† no I guess the boxers were too small in some areas to be photographed! ๐Ÿ˜†

  21. There2ia says:

  23. Furie says:

It's a good phone for your needs, hell it's excellent for your needs and I doubt you'll have any problems with it, but the name makes it so I'll never recommend it to anyone ever. :knight: How're you finding Touchwiz? It bugged the hell out of me after a couple of days. For those wondering how tiny Darko's fingers are, that's a 2.8 inch touchscreen if I'm not mistaken.

  24. L2D2 says:

San, Dare turned chickens— when I got his address to buy the drawers and send them to him. He ran like a scared rabbit! ๐Ÿ˜†

:DAh, the Magic Castle in the Sky. I have fond memories of that place. Saw Drew on the Golden Globes tonight. And then Tricia Helfer on the pilot of that new Fox show. w00t!

  34. CedarFox says:

Have fun with your new phone, Darko! It looks five years newer than mine does ๐Ÿ˜€

  35. gdare says:

Carol, thanks :DEd, thank you. What is all of that about name Corby, nobody explained it to me so far? I will have to check in Urban Dictionary :left:Words, I hope you bought yourself some of the rugged phones that passed military tests for water, dust and kicking. There is such model that Samsung makes I think it is B2100. Also, there are few Motorola models that I like a lot but are ment to be sold only in USA market :awww: Thanks :)Angeliki, thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ And if the things they say about long fingers is the same in Greece as in Serbia, than I know :lol:San, you have seen my measurements  I think I wrote it somewhere ๐Ÿ˜† Height and stuff :PMik, yes it is 2.8 inch, 240×320 px, 256K colors. :sst: What is Touchwiz? :left:Theresia, thank you; it is not difficult to learn, there is a certain logic in all software and I have no problems getting into it  Only if this monitor is a bit bigger or have stylus (a sort of a pen) so I could use it on touchscreen :)Kiran, thank you :)For the rest of the comments about Pink Panther boxers I don`t know what are you talking about, it is completely unknown to me :letft  :monkey:Yes, Angeliki, send her a big box of chocolate

  43. gdare says:

Eric, sorry I just saw your comment. What kind of phone you have? Anyway, your camera and lenses are probably last hit of 21st century, I would rather have something like that

  44. L2D2 says:
