The Parcel from England

Few weeks ago Kimmie told me that she and Mik will send us something. And today it arrived πŸ˜€
In a letter that I've found in parcel, Kimmie told us that all the presents are "quintessentially British" – and that there is something little for Cleo :cat:
As you can see there is a lot of salty and sweet things (I keep my eyes on that dark chocolate "Old Jamaica" πŸ˜€ ) and you can tell that Cleo really liked her present πŸ˜€

Cleo wearing tutu and inspecting sweets
Ok, thank you very much and just to add that you both can expect something in return, something quintessentially Canadian… and probably few Serbian things, too

I guess so, there was no one else around. I was just sitting there watching some show on the television with a pack of Oreos. I remember clearly that I opened the pack, but then I sunk into the mist of the TV Void, and when I came back the pack was empty. There was also a can of carbonated beverage in there somewhere. As far as I remember.

It's them sub-lima-bull messages on the telly! :irked::jester:

It's the Void. I very rarely watch television, but when I do, it's to obtain this particular form of mental stasis. I drift into a state of absolute nothingness, become one with all the things that are not, and liberate my mind from the things that are. While in the Void, I'm pefectly capable of preforming standard actions, like stuffing my face with biscuits. I can also interact with others on a rudimentary basis, but only if I have to. It is bliss.

That is the exact definition. Thank you. Everybody should try that once in a while. It will ease stress. Coffee and chocolate biscuits also helps against constipation. Especially if you eat the entire pack.

    It's a state of heightened unawareness! :yes::p

  30. Spaggyj says:

…actually, it's probably just the coffee helping you there πŸ˜†

  31. Aqualion says:

Unless… Click here!…:cool:Some parcels you should just leave unopened…

Oreos, potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chip cookies,… you name it. If a good show on TV is on, or a movie…. But I hate to eat in cinemas. It annoys me when other people make crunching and slurping noises while I watch a movie :PBtw, Opera is pain in the a** today, for every comment I left there were at least 15-20 clicks on a button bellow :irked:

am curious more than Celo to know what is inside them

  34. gdare says:

    Sweets, chocolate, candy… :chef:

  35. raniakasim says:

well , i'll tell you how to deal with them , bring a big dish , put its contents in it , then sit and watch the TV

  36. gdare says:

  37. Aqualion says:

For the record, I had the exact same experience as mentioned in an above comment the other evening, this time with a pack of Scottish Short Bead. It was also gone within one episode of some series. An almost identical event. I don't even recall which show it was. I even, by pure accident, drank a cup of tea. I mean: me drinking tea? Well, I suppose that 'self-development' thing really works.

  38. gdare says:

Yes, for me it is one of the best ways to spend the evening. Maybe with beer instead of the tea, but anyway. Now that I am an older guy, that is πŸ˜›
