So, December 21st is here and world still exists :left: :right: Well, as far as I can see and the fact that we live on a hill, gives us the opportunity to see far, all the way to Vancouver Island. When it's not rainy, that is.
So, in order to see what went wrong with Mayans prediction, we decided to go to Mexico and do some research. This is a secret mission so we decided to dress properly. We don't want to draw unnecessary attention :left:
While we are there, we will enjoy some local food and drinks (Tequila) and try to locate some wildlife as well. It is a good opportunity, right?
Have a wonderful time! :DI'm afraid that you might struggle to get the guitar on the plane without excess baggage fees, though :right:
Either San is taller than I thought … or you're shrinking. You do look very short in that picture. :insane:

Oh cool, so you'll be there for Christmas?
Dennis, thanks :cheers:Kimmie, yes, we are coming back in 7 days
I don't think you'll have any trouble finding any wildlife. Even if you see no animals at all, the life is pretty wild down there.:DHave a great time!
Sung by James Taylor, David Crosby and Graham Nash singin' harmony.
Have a nice trip! :cool:Hasta luego!
Merry Christmas Darko and San.Have a safe trip. π

Down the Bookstore the other day, this guy came in with staring eyes waving a book in his hand. It was his Mayland Calendar. He found out it expired at the 31st! He just had to get a new one.
Ah, yes, that's the tune I recall! :yes:Although in South Africa we had Jeremy Taylor singing the lyrics I posted above to that tune!:DThe American version has a completely crappy intro with different scenes, different tune and different Lyrics! :yuck::sst: I saw somewhere that this production was Japanese. I know that the Japanese did make an animated version of Heidi, which is a German story, so I guess they may have done this one as well.
I actually watched that show on German television, 'Die Biene Maja'. The story is originally German. The original theme for the animated series (early seventies) was composed by Karel Svoboda and sung by Karel Gott.Do you remember that show, Darko?

Yeah, there were a lot of Japanese/German anime productions back then. I was brought up on that stuff. My favourite was this one. Killer tune, I think! Actually a clever show, not the average same-shit-happening-in-each-and-every-episode kind of anime. This is a Japanese production, though, only the title and music in the German version is unique, created by German composer Christian Bruhn, considered, today, as a cult relic.
You know it's almost impossible to find the original theme tune for Maya The Bee! I did find the Aussie version, which is close, but mostly all you get is a horrid American version that doesn't even use the original tune! :insane:
Have a nice trip! π
+1We are waiting for the photos π
Have A nice trip, both of you!!!
Have a nice trip

I have to admit that when you first made this Post, I thought you were just joking about going to Mexico. You know … because of the Mayan Calendar thing.

Too bad he didn't get there : shots of tequila, ten cents; kilos of grass, maybe $50, maybe $100, always depended on how you know, right
Sami, Happy New Year to you, too :cheers:Carlos, wait for my next post. I am busy at the moment but hopefully will have some time soon to make it. I've found the cause for their mistake :sherlock:Martin, I never make jokes about my travels :DdW, :cool:Russ, I won't ask you how you know all of that π
Never had any contact with grass that didn't make me sick.I stick to booze and maybe an occasional downer in the Tylenol-3 class.
Well, as long as you're mixing them.
Well, the pills have the advantage of predictability and long lasting buzz without continual topping off, as it were, which can go seriously awry.
I haven't been into Mexico since Wooooooo!Probably sometime between back in 80 to 83.
