Earthquake in Japan

I wanted to make post completely different than this one but it would be connected to Japanese martial arts. Sort of. But after what has happened in Japan only few days ago, it is not convinient to write about that. Not now. Next time maybe, but not now.
I have found those photographs all over Internet. They can show only a small part of disaster left after tsunami.
No houses. No streets. No people.

No need to leave a comment. Just take a look and remember. And when you think that life is not fair to you, remember how lucky actually most of us are…

Sorry Darko, I know you said no need to leave a comment but I just wanted to say to you, well said. You can delete this comment if you want to.

Like you, I wanted to make another Japanese related post (about an upcoming video game where players are cast as survivors of a natural disaster much like this one and have to survive in a destroyed city, of all things) and like you I ended up doing a picture post on this. No language has the right words to sum it up otherwise.

Maaan… *hugs* to the survivors… :rip: for everyone else. 😦

  10. Spaggyj says:

There's nothing to say. It won't make anything less worse.

That there has been no looting says a great deal about this society. This kind of seemingly sudden destruction is hard to understand for many but it is really the nature of things on earth. :dragonfly:

  12. gdare says:

Abbacus, they live with that danger every day. And most of them are prepared to act accordingly!

  13. SittingFox says:

It is almost beyond belief. This planet is indeed a very dangerous place 😦

  14. raniakasim says:

so sorry about Japan , but i think this is another proof of our weakness .I saw the news since the first moments of the disaster, now one expected such disastrous result ,all of us thought that a developed country like Japan is well prepared for such disasters

  15. gdare says:

Rania, imagine that kind of earthquake anywhere else in the world. I know, if that happened in Serbia, we would have more than million dead by now…

  16. raniakasim says:

In Arabic we say may God keep u away form every thing bad

  17. rose-marie says:

It's so hard to fathom.Like the first picture… it almost looks like toy cars and planes. Horrifying.

  18. gdare says:

Exactly what one of my friends said.

  19. Words says:

    It's truly unimaginable.
