A lot of my friends knows how much I like SF. Having opportunity to fly in the outer space was always part of my youth`s dream. Feeling what it is like to be out of gravity; counting Saturn`s rings; winking at Jupiter`s red spot; waving to Pluto…
Now something to brag about. In November 2010. I am scheduled to fly off in spaceshuttle Endeavour as a member of team in the STS-134 flight mission.
Well, sort of.
If you follow this link you will see that some inventive people from NASA decided to give us a chance to make a fly into cosmos even though none of us have ever had a day spent in training for that kind of mission. In short, following this link you may give your name and upload a photo and you will be on board of Endeavour in a 10 days mission and visit of ISS in Earth`s orbit.
I put one of my "Copacabana bored" photographs and got a confirmation that digital piece of me will be on that flight.

I'm in! That will be quite a treasure to give your kids—if you ever have any. What a fun thing to do. Is there a way, though, to verify that you actually went into space? I mean, they just might be saying that and have no real intention of carrying perhaps several million photos! :eyes:

Linda, they are not charging for it so why should they cheat? Once up there, everything is unreal and you won't be able to see the difference, it would be like in your living room.
