As I mentioned in Dirk`s latest post, weather is acting weird all over Europe this spring. It started nice here, we had 20C+ temperatures at the end of April but May ruined our expectations. Suddenly rain and thunders and very strong and cold wind lowered the air temperature to about 10C with constant raining for two weeks now. This is not our usual spring weather so this could be a reason I wasn`t out there too much taking photographs. It felt more like winter or late autumn, when we were expecting some snow :insane:
Anyway. I made some photographs during last two weeks. It started with some kind of light phenomenon, we had a storm and when it was over some of the sunlinght came through the clouds. It was very yellow as you can see and red was very intensive. I promise I didn`t Photoshop those π
Later it became very cold. With not too many people around and no sun at all, flowers looked sad and abandoned. Even the artificial ones….
Boats too…
Now it is changing to what is usual for this part of a year. We had a brief storm with thunders yesterday but the rest of the day was fine. I had a pause between two of saturday`s trainings so decided to spent some time out in the open. The air was warm and my skin felt like melting under the warmth. An old man was feeding pigeons and they had a rest after lunch as well π

It was the same until friday here. This weekend instead is good. I took the chance to ride the scooter around the lake this morning.
… hopefully it will get better soon, I miss blooming flowers and a nice time sitting on a bench … I love the picture with the pigeon on the bench … and of course the light phenomena … spectacular
Great :yes:I love your photos . .
I predict much warmth in your life soon. In a month you will be complaining about the heat! π
Darko, awesome photos. π
Lorenzo, I am glad to hear that. So soon we will have nice weather too :hat: :cheers:Dirk, sitting on that bench yesterday had a healing effect on me :cool:Risis, thanks :DSan, I hope so. I miss the heat in my life π
That reminds me, I must still upload a photo of sunrise1 :up;.
I like the pictures  Cute pigeon π I'll miss this weather in June, July when in the public transport will be too hot and outside I will feel like in the oven.
stellar pictures! It has been a crazy patern with the weather in our city too!Yesterday and most of the day was sunny and nice, soon we will have a rain storm (or so they are telling us…) not a clue what to wear any longer! :(thanks for sharing
Wanna swap homes for a bit Darkie? It's hot as hell here π‘ no breeze or anything!Very beautiful photos  I really like the water, and the bench.
An attack by Mars! The lighting in those pictures and the rainbow are fantastic! And I really love the pigeon on the bench. He looks right at home. You seem to have an affinity for pigeons and park benches. You can get plenty of heat in Texas, Dare. Temp here, even at nearly 6 p.m. is still 93F. Unusually warm for this time of year. August is going to be a humdinger!
Yes, me too. Looking forward to some summer heat. π
Carol, thanks :)Aadil, ok, we are waiting for that :up:Mira, yes weather in summer could be tricky sometimes. But I prefer hot summer not the rainy and cold ones :left:Angeliki, it is monday morning here and now it is very bright and sunny; we will see what it will be like in the afternoon :left:Kimmie, seems that famous British weather failed this time :left:Linda, it looked like an attack from Mars indeed π This kind of light happens only once or twice a year and always after storm and it was too bad I needed to go to training instead of going out and taking photographs. Red colour was amazing :up:San, I know π

You are welcome Darko. π
wow, I love the rainbow  :sst: Maybe your summer is busy playing hide and seek π
Hi Darko, how are you?Hope all is well. π
I always like your posts, Dare. Kimmie's comment reminded me the weather here.:) The photos, made me imagin the day when our sun will start becoming a red giant.
Dirk :PMit, yes probably π Carol π
Carol, I am OK, thanks π Will go to work soon, it is already a monday here :left:Kiran, by that time, I will probably be nothing but dust and humanity will find its way out of this solar system π
Beautiful pictures! I especially like the picture of artificial flowers. They give such nice contrast to the gray and gloomy atmosphere. :)Originally posted by thaodp:

They will be there π
Well I guess I'm sorry to hear about your weather situation, I suppose. It would be fine with me, actually. 13 C here today and I'm very happy. In any case I think it's because you have a different type of sun in Serbia.
Mit, keep on dreaming big dreams :yes:Ed, sometimes I feel like I am from another galaxy *nods* :left:
Great photos of the orange air, Darko, and the rainbow is gorgeous.
Thanks, Star :DOriginally posted by Stardancer:
Nice expression
So, is that building that shows up bright red … some shade of red to begin with? Logic would dictate that it would be the same color as the buildings around it. But, I don't know. Seems a might bit red to not be red to begin with. It's not just the light, right?
It is painted with some kind of dark red but not that bright. The car I saw in front of my building, shone like a neon lamp and it is painted in some kind of "regular" red π
good i think that ur enjoying the warm sun while i suffer form hot her :cry:have a nice day
Anything is better than coldness  Have a nice day yourself
Darko, the "light phenomenon" is beautiful! love the shine and intensity it left on the buildings. makes one glad, doesn't it?!I really like that boat photo, too. I hope the weather continues toward summer-likeness for you π
oh- and what a rainbow!! π
hi Darko .. after a long time! How are u? I see again u take some photos that make me jelous ! π
We had a frost in the North Downs this year on May 13th. I don't know what the weather is like there now because obviously I'm in Canada  but the Canadian prairies have been far colder than usual. It's also raining a lot, which is very unusual for the Grasslands NP region.Nice shot of the pigeon on the bench!
Nasim, I am glad to see you around again  As for photos, you know, it is a scenery that looks nice, I just point and shoot my camera  :DAdele, right now I am looking through a window at unusually cold and rainy 1st June morning – we had about 70 liters per square meter of rain last night and it is 9C :ko: And it should be sunny and 20C at least :smurf:
:pirate: π
(Well, I am very late to the party this time….)I enjoyed your photos very much: "Martian Light", "Martian Rainbow", and "Pigeon in the Park". They reminded me that it has been too long since I last got out my camera and tried to "see". I seem to be stuck in winter this year, even though the rest of the world is moving on toward summer. :worried: Thanks for reminding me I need to get out more. :coffee:
If you have a nice weather there, this is a must
