This has been, and still is, a very busy week for me. After all those "quiet" office months, suddenly it felt like someone turned a key and machine started. In last two weeks I prepared so many orders for printing like I usually do in April or May. If that means a season started earlier this year, then I will be doomed, because I will have to survive 4 long months until I earn the right to go on vacation. And when it starts like that it means I work full 8 hours, sometimes more, and barely have 15 minutes to eat something. Sigh… This is my 9th year that I am employed with this company and I must say I feel a bit tired…
Anyway. Busy week with a lot of things to finish after working hours so I was at home usually after 8 p.m. Plus trainings. This evening I decided to stay at home and have some time for myself. Tomorrow is the 40th day since my grandma died and there is a custom in Serbia to go to graveyard and listen a priest saying a prayer, spend some time with family and friends talking about everyday things. They say it is important for a soul of deceased…
So, I stayed at home and, after having a dinner, opened a can of beer and started to read comments in notifications, here in Opera. Listened for some music Issy sent me there in FB. This was a tough week, Allan died in monday and a lot of my Opera friends made a tribute posts. Everything is sort of quiet around….
I feel my eyelids are becoming heavy, this is exactly my 12th hour today in front of monitor and I need to give my eyes a chance to rest. Will probably read a book, a page or two before I get to a dreamworld
One excerpt comes to my mind now π
Inside that darkness, I saw rain falling on the sea. Rain softly falling on a vast sea, with no one there to see it. The rain strikes the surface of the sea, yet even the fish don't know it is raining.
Until someone came and lightly rested a hand on my shoulder, my thoughts were of the sea.

At least you have a job right? :worried: Think about it, you have a great life after all. :)And a can of beer, that's something many people can't enjoy on a regular evening. :p
MizzM, perspective changes and after reaching certain age, one start to expect less and become satisfied whith what is available. But you are right. I have a good life. Bad things are inevitable but I am usually ready to face them π
You are a strong human being, and to face the "problems" no matter what the consequences will be shows that. π
