Yes, my dear Opera friends, I am back. Returned to my home town about a couple of hours ago.
Unfortunately, bad news waited for me. Some of you know that I live with my grandparents and some of you know that my grandma was ill. My mother and aunt called me two days ago to tell me that she is not doing well. She is very weak now and I am afraid these are her last days.
So, this is what I have to deal with in a days to come. If you see that I disappear again, you will know the reason.
Take care.

Linda, thank you for kind words.Kimmie, thanks anyway.
Sorry to hear this. Stay strong.
Am glad you're back but so sorry about the news of your grandma being worse. Take care.
Oh, so sorry to hear that, Darko.
:awww: I'm so sorry this bad news waited for you. :worried:
Thanks everyone. Looking at her being so weak is not easy, too. This is not a life…
Yes, it is so hard to see a loved one fade away, and I am so sorry you had to come back to this, but life is life and we have to deal with it on a daily basis. I hope for what is best for your Grandma. God be with her and with you and your family.
Don't know what to say. I'm so sorry, Darko..
😦 Don't know what to say, either.
I'm sorry to hear your sad news, Darko. Take care.
Thanks all. She was happy to see me, I am glad she recognised me. Tried to hug me but didn`t have strength. We just looked at each other`s eyes for a while.
You will be in my thoughts. I am glad that you will be with your grandmother in the coming days. I am sure that will make her glad.
Wish you and your family all the best, no matter what happens, mate.
Tough times ahead…your comment above is very moving, take care.
Thank goodness she recognized you Dare. That will mean a lot in the future.
Welcome back, Darko.Certainly not the type of News one wants to come home to after a vacation. I'm trying to think back and remember whether I've seen any mention of whether you celebrate Christmas or any of the other holidays around this time. Not that there's ever any good time for someone to come to the end of their life's journey, but I'm sure it hits extra hard around a time like this for family and friends of someone who does.
Please give her many hugs Darko, she might not remember at this point, but she can feel the love! stay close to your grandfather, he is the one that will need lots of help! I hope she comes out of it and that,God gives her strength to continue making people happy with her presence for many years to come !
Louis, thank you.Linda, she was so happy to see me. My aunt told me she was asking about me last few days.Carlos, my family always celebrated both Orthodox and Catholic celebrations. But, you are right, it will not be a lot of reasons for celebration this year.Angeliki, thank you very much.
Darko, my friend. God Bless you and your family. Find peace in the knowledge that you are a close family. Talk to her, tell her all you want her to know and ask her if she'd have anything she'd like to say. Sing favorite songs, read favorite books. Take care. God Bless. BIG HUGS
Carols advice sounds excellent, Dare. A good plan.
:worried:
Take care, Darko.
Carol, I don't think she would understand anything that I would read or said to her now. But thanks anyway :worried: Thank you, all. You are real friends.
so sorry to hear that, Darko.
am glad you are back. and sorry to hear about your grandmother.

Mit and Kim, thanks.
I am sorry to learn what you are facing. My best wishes for you all – whatever the future days may bring you.
Linda, you are right.Allan, thank you for your kind words.
*quietly* Sorry to hear that….. 😦
I'm sorry Darko, I just know that when my dad was in a coma dying I read to him and talked to him. He even opened his eyes and squeezed my hand. BIG HUGS:heart:
Thanks all, again.
I'm sorry to hear this Darko, I hope she will get better.
Hate to hear that. 😦 Got an update?
She is stabilized now, for a week or so, pneumonia seemed to be cured but cancer is still there, growing a bit and causing a mild fever. But she is not in pain so this is a little mercy. And she is not aware what is going on around…
I know.
Good and bad news then. With bad winning. Hang tough and take care. Things like this will wear you down.
Best wishes and good luck, my friend.
Thanks.
My grandma died this morning.May her soul find her peace.
Oh Darko, I'm so sorry for your loss. Hopefully you'll find some comfort amongst your friends here and elsewhere in this time. You know we're here for you if you need us.
I'm so sorry to hear that. At least her suffering is over. That thought is what got me through when my wife died. Remember to pay attention to yourself, my friend. Best wishes and may God be with you and yours.
