As some of you know, I got a flu this weekend and decided to spend another day at home to cure myself properly. Despite the fact that I will not be at the office today (YAY!!!) I feel extremely bored. Already watched a lot of movies I wanted to see for some time now, slept my ass off yesterday and drank about a pool of a tea, nothing else left for me but to check on some mails I received in a last week or so. This is the one I found amusing, it was in Serbian but Wikipedia is amazing place πŸ˜€

I cdn'uolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg: the phaonmneel pweor of the hmuan mnid. Aoccdrnig to a rseearch taem at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Such a cdonition is arppoiatrely cllaed Typoglycemia :)- Mbaye taht's why FCUK T-srihts are so cmoomn?
Amzanig huh? Yaeh and you awlyas thguoht slpeling was ipmorantt.

πŸ˜† There was another word I found hilarious, it is scrmabaling which is of course scrambling and there are links to PHP, javascript and Perl scripts for this πŸ˜€

So, if you feel too tired of weird comments to your posts and photoalbums, try to scrmabale text and get rid of weird visitors. Completely πŸ˜€

More about typoglycemia.

πŸ˜† At first when I saw your title, I thought it was a Serbian word. One of my daughters sent me this a while back. She said 'look mom, there's actually a paragraph showing how you think'. You see, I tend to scramble words….er, I mean….letters when I read anyways so that paragraph was easy for me. I'm surprised I didn't scramble them more. I'm worse with numbers.

  29. gdare says:

Carol – :jester:Java – for about 15 years I lived by my own for at least 6 months every year; there was no use of whining, I needed to learn how to take care of myself; on the other hand, this is only a flu :PIn my tea? Nothing… :whistle:Anita – πŸ˜† I am wondering how it will sound in Serbian; let`s try… Ndaam se da cu usorko oavrzditi :DPam – I think this confirms that our brain works with images, most of the time; with some people more, obviously – you are painter, right? :)Graham – how many tea spoons of honey is there? πŸ˜†

  30. gdare says:

:doh:I thought frogs in England/USA are singing like this:

  33. PainterWoman says:

  34. gdare says:
