Rain & Crows

It was raining today since early morning, like it will never stop. Everything is grey and cold but there was one thing that draw my attention.
I saw this:

This two crows were sitting on the roof like it is sunny summer day. And they looked quite good and satisfied – and stood there for more than 10 minutes. Were they enjoying all this rain, wind and coldness?

I didn`t use my Canon for taking this picture, I used my coleague`s ultra-compact camera; the photo is a little bit blurry and over exposed…

It's nice that someone seem to enjoy all that rain.

Oh, you have the hooded crow form! πŸ™‚ The ones I have in the southeast of England are usually black; we get the hooded one in Scotland and Ireland though.Crows are strange creatures and perhaps they were enjoying the shower! πŸ˜€

I'm not very fond of rain either. And we have had soooo much of it this summer. 😦

we have been dry here more than normal…so the farmers r the ones here that appreciate the rain….i don't like it cuz it either makes it too muggy to be out in…or it makes it too cold to b out in…and besides, i can't go outside and take pictures when its raining either…i gotta take them all from inside…and i don't like to do that…lol

A summer in Serbia was very dry and the temperatures were like in north Africa – one whole week above 40C. But rain came suddenly and temperatures fall down to some 16C in two days and it is very unpleasant, from a hot summer we were put in a cold fall 😦

We never really had a sunny summer here, I may remember it worse than it was, but june was ok, July and August was soooo wet, I almost feel as if I am getting rusty. πŸ˜€

Actually I liked it, when I've seen it in my sunday walk. This is the proof that nature is stronger and more persistent than we are (and things that we produce) :DThe passing of time and such sort of things πŸ™‚

Abandoned pipe valve in the middle of field, covered with rust πŸ˜€

  11. attilasoul says:

    Pretty sad, huh? 😦

  12. attilasoul says:

    Yes, that's exactly how I feel! πŸ˜€

  13. attilasoul says:

Ah, I didn't mean that the photo was sad, I actually like the photo! πŸ˜€ I meant that it was pretty sad to feel like an abandoned rusty pipe. πŸ˜†

  14. gdare says:

πŸ˜† I know exactly what you meant, but except abandonment, feeling like a rusty pipe valve in the middle of field is not a sad occasion for me πŸ˜€

  15. gdare says:

:DYes it is, but we are all grown ups, it is supposed that we can get over it

  16. attilasoul says:

So you're teasing me huh? You little rascal! :DAbandonment is very bad 😦
