  8. wickedlizard13 says:

    no Portugal??? :eyes: πŸ˜₯

  9. gdare says:

Portugal is on my list of wishes

  10. gdare says:

Iceland, Norway, Ireland, Thailand, New Zealand, Ecuador, Chile (especially Rapa Nui – Easter island) and South Africa :)I am not just polite, South Africa is here because of my uncle who was a sailor and his first "big" journey was to Japan. During Israeli – Egypt conflict, it was impossible to float through a Suez chanell in 1960s so it was decided to go around Africa. They have stopped in Cape Town to buy a fuel. After they left Cape of Good Hope they have fallen into the big storm that lasted for about a week. There was not much sleeping during that week and my uncle has told me that when a storm finally left them, he went to bed to sleep and dreamed that he was sleeping. It was amazing story to me, almost 20 years ago.

  11. Capegirl says:

what other countries are on the list!?

  12. Capegirl says:

that's a good list πŸ™‚ the most sleep deprived i've ever been was during a penguin rescue mission. i was dreaming everything in black and white and hallucinating it too

  13. Capegirl says:

i have been caught in a storm around cape town. i was truly afraid for the first time in my life~!!!

  14. gdare says:

"i was dreaming everything in black and white and hallucinating it too" πŸ˜† Was it on Antarctic or in South Africa?

  15. Capegirl says:

In South Africa- on Dassen Island!! There it looks like the Antarctic! But really the colors of the penguin do funny things to the brain! Very unsettling!

  16. sanshan says:

I've only visited 4% but look how large the area!create your own visited country map or check our Venice travel guide

  17. gdare says:

Wow, some of the biggest countries in a world are on that map  You know, I have bigger percentage because of the density of countries we have in Europe and I have visited about half of them :)Where have you been in Japan?

  18. sanshan says:

    The airport πŸ˜†

  19. sanshan says:

Well, I had to spend 6 hours there! And I had to eat there, and pay with Japanese money! Yes, of course it counts!Oh, I forgot Singapore too…another 8 hours there.

  20. sanshan says:

I even took a shower and went to the gym in the airport in Singapore. Oh, and saw a movie, and then hung out in the bar. And I had a nap in Japan too! πŸ˜†

  21. gdare says:

:lol:I spent 17 hours in Milan airport in Italy and this is the worse time I have ever had in an airport. If you are unsure would you go via Rome or Milan, I suggest to choose Rome. You will have difficulty to find someone of airport stuff speak decent English but the airport looks newer and have more caffeterias and places to stay. In Malpensa (Milan airport) I spent the night with 2 guys from Bangladesh who spoke 5 words of English together. And Alitalia stuff refused to provid me a hotel even though the flight to Belgrade was cancelled. After 11 hours flight from a Tokyo it wasn`t the best news I wanted to hear. And even though I had a voucher for dinner, guy in restaurant closed the door in front of my nose just because it was closing time :furious: So I spent 17 hours hungry with only posibility to sleep in chair in waiting room. No one gave a shit about me. I will never fly with Alitalia ever :knight:

  22. gdare says:

Ahhh, you counted that, too? Then I will have to add at least two more countries in my list πŸ˜›

  23. gdare says:

Then I will need to make a revision to that list πŸ˜€

  24. sanshan says:

:(Well, I'm sure you will be able to add to your map very soon. πŸ˜‰

  26. gdare says:

I almost forgot to update this post. A percentage of countries visited has changed since 25th of May, 2007. Especially after I went to Canada πŸ˜€ Here:Also, I`ve found there a map of Canadian provinces I`ve visited. Ontario participates only with Toronto airport, actually

  27. canadagirl says:

Oh, Darko I'm disappointed, you should drop by, we could grab a cup of coffee (and when I say coffee, I mean our coffee, not this Tim Hortons crap):coffee:

  28. gdare says:

I spent 50 minutes at Toronto airport and it was late in the evening. Not time for coffee, anyway :Dhave you seen my post about troubles I was having while going to Canada?

  29. canadagirl says:

Not yet, I was busy with my final exams @ college, but I'll read as soon as I finish my school. I hope it wasn't too bad, I'm coming to Serbia this summer, and I'm hoping that everything will run smoothly. Knowing how everything usually turns out, it probably won't. But hope dies last…
